Control
Owners should remain in control of their property information, pricing, policies, and guest relationships.
About SayStay
SayStay was created to help independent properties improve guest service, strengthen direct bookings, and reclaim the time consumed by repetitive guest communication.
Independent hotel owners should not have to choose between answering every inquiry themselves and surrendering guest relationships to an OTA. SayStay helps them serve guests directly, convert inquiries into reservations, and retain more control over their revenue.

Our origin
SayStay was inspired by a conversation with an independent guesthouse owner with properties throughout the Caribbean. She wanted to reduce her dependence on online travel agencies and generate more direct reservations, but the daily demands of guest communication were relentless.
She often responded to guest inquiries after putting her infant daughter to sleep—trying to balance quick service, family life, and the financial pressure of OTA commissions.
Independent hospitality owners need technology that gives them greater control without removing the warmth and personality that make their properties special.

The founder
SayStay is the product of more than two decades of technology leadership applied to the practical challenges of hospitality.
Christon Scott has spent more than twenty years helping organizations solve business problems through digital transformation, automation, process improvement, analytics, and enterprise technology. Across corporate leadership and private- sector work, his focus has remained consistent: technology should make a business stronger without making it more complicated.
His experience spans software, operational efficiency, finance, and artificial intelligence, including early work building a software company and tourism-industry experience with Tourism Intelligence International. That combination brought the realities of hospitality operations into clear focus.
Conversations with hotel owners inspired SayStay: practical hospitality technology designed to reduce repetitive work, strengthen direct guest relationships, and give owners greater control. The objective is not to replace hospitality, but to preserve it through thoughtful automation.
Our mission
To help independent hospitality businesses become more profitable, responsive, and free by giving them practical technology that strengthens direct guest relationships.
Our vision
A hospitality industry where independent properties can compete effectively, retain their personality, and keep more of the value they create.
The meaning of our mark
The SayStay mark is inspired by the Adinkra symbol for Community. Its two sides represent the relationship between guests and hotels. The space between them represents communication; together, the complete symbol represents trust and connection.
Better communication creates stronger relationships and more direct bookings. SayStay doesn't replace hospitality. It preserves it.
What guides us
01
Owners should remain in control of their property information, pricing, policies, and guest relationships.
02
Technology should reduce repetitive work and create time for people, family, hospitality, and growth.
03
Automation should strengthen personal service, not replace it.
04
Independent properties should be able to grow without surrendering an increasing share of revenue to intermediaries.
05
Technology should preserve the character, voice, and individuality of each property.
06
Guests deserve timely, accurate, and dependable communication.
